The "Lepanto-Cycle" by artist Cy Twombly needed to be packed and shipped to Houston. In agreement with the conservators of the Doerner Institute in Munich we provided a case study for the project. Fully insulated climate controlled slot cases were built to specification in our carpentry. Packaging and crating was carefully carried out. The logistics concept included GPS-monitoring of the vehicle on it's way from Munich to Amsterdam airport, careful palettization at KLM in Schipohl in cooperation with our colleagues from Van Kralingen, and a safe arrival of the shipment in Houston.
